S.U.C.C.E.S.S.'S Re-Opening Plan (ROP)
The ROP is a result of active engagement of frontline workers, health and safety committee members and supervisors in a process of assessing the risks at the Centre, developing and implementing protocols, as well as, continuously evaluating and reviewing protocols and procedures.
The purpose of the ROP is to provide guidance to staff and clients to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to maintain a safe and healthy environment, as that is of utmost priority to us.
S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Burnaby Business Centre Re-Opening
After months of assessments and preparation, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Burnaby Business Centre (210-5172 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC) is ready to reopen for limited in-person services starting October 27, 2020.
Operational hours will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesdays and Thursday (temporarily).
All in-person services are by appointment only. Appointment priority will be given to clients experiencing technology barriers or who are more effectively served through in-person services.
Protocols in Place
Only 1 client and 3 staff members are permitted in the office at all times
All visitors are required to book an appointment (walk-ins are not allowed)
Appointments are staggered to ensure physical distancing can be safeguarded
Each appointment will be 1-hour maximum; 3 appointments maximum per day
Before and after each appointment, staff will disinfect the area
A pre-screening call will be made to the client, 24-hours prior to their appointment to ensure their health status
Upon entry, a second health screening will be done
All visitors will be required to sign a Consent Form for In-Person Services and fill out a Contact Log
All employees, visitors, and volunteers must respect physical distancing requirements and wear a face mask during their presence at the Centre
Plexiglass has been installed to separate visitors and staff in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19
If you display any COVID-19 symptoms - cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, or sudden loss of smell - we ask that you stay home (you will not be allowed into the facility)
We encourage clients to use phone calls, virtual meetings, email, and other remote methods of communication, when possible, to avoid physical contact and to prevent the transmission of COVID-19
